Job summary

PT Sea Group is seeking an Operations Engineer, Server & Infrastructure (Contract) to ensure reliable corporate server platforms across regional offices. You will handle day-to-day operations, patching, monitoring, backups and incident resolution, while automating tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.

The role requires 2+ years in production server infrastructure, hands-on virtualization (Proxmox VE, VMware vSphere, vCenter), and robust AD/Windows/Linux expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of production server infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with Proxmox VE, VMware vSphere and vCenter.
• Experience with patch management and monitoring.
• Windows Server and Active Directory administration experience.
• Linux administration and scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python).
• Experience with backup platforms such as Veeam.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain corporate server infrastructure across multiple countries and regions.
• Plan and execute OS and infrastructure patching with rollback planning.
• Manage monitoring and alerting for timely incident response.
• Administer virtualization platforms and VM provisioning.
• Provide operational support for Active Directory and identity services.
• Investigate incidents and resolve systemic issues with teams/vendors.
• Develop scripts to automate recurring tasks (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and out-of-hours maintenance.
