Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to implement the local People Strategy in Jakarta, aligning with regional goals. You will advise leaders on people-related matters and lead the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, compensation and succession planning.

The role requires strong labor law knowledge, change management skills, and the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder network in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of HR generalist experience with strong fundamentals.
• Experience in warehousing/contract logistics is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of labor law; unionized environments helpful.
• Strong change management, facilitation, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the global People Strategy at local level.
• Serve as trusted advisor to leaders on people-related matters.
• Lead annual HR cycle: performance, compensation, succession, development.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with regional people team on daily HR operations.
• Analyze HR data to drive improvements and decisions.
• Design and deliver training for local leaders and employees.
