Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced HR Generalist Leader to implement the local People Strategy in Bekasi, Indonesia. You will advise leaders, drive the annual HR cycle, and guide employee relations in a dynamic logistics environment.

The role requires 15+ years in HR, deep labor law knowledge, and excellent English communication. Collaboration with regional teams and a proactive, autonomous mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience as an HR generalist with strong HR fundamentals.
• Experience in warehousing and contract logistics is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of labor law; experience from unionized environments beneficial.
• Experience in large international organizations and complex stakeholder navigation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement the global People Strategy at the local level, aligned with regional and business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for leaders and teams on people-related matters.
• Lead the delivery of the annual HR cycle, including performance management and compensation reviews.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations.
• Monitor local labor law changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Act as a talent broker to facilitate internal mobility across teams and regions.
• Collaborate with regional people team to manage daily HR operations and resolve complex HR cases.
• Analyze real-time HR data to generate insights and drive improvements.
• Design and deliver training for local leaders and employees on HR topics.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
