Job summary

Meratus Group, a leading Indonesian maritime and logistics company, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to align people strategies with business goals in Jakarta. You will partner with leaders to drive employee relations, performance management, and talent development while shaping workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.

The role requires 12+ years in HRBP/HR Generalist roles, fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and a thorough understanding of Indonesian labor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; HR-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as an HRBP, HR Generalist, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong business partnering, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Jakarta working location.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand organizational priorities and develop HR solutions that support business objectives.
• Provide strategic and operational HR support across employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Coach managers on people management, employee engagement, and HR best practices.
• Lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, succession planning, and development planning.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support workforce planning and hiring strategies.
• Identify learning and development needs and coordinate capability-building initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and internal HR policies.
• Support organizational change initiatives and foster a positive employee experience.
• Stay updated with HR trends, employment legislation, and industry best practices.
