Job summary

Syngenta is seeking an experienced OT Automation professional to drive plant automation projects across AMEA seed production sites. You will collaborate with regional/global engineering peers to align standards and implement scalable solutions across sites, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in OT automation or related fields, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage cross-country projects.

Qualifications

University degree in CS/EE/IE/Mechatronics or equivalent.
Min. 5 years of maintenance, OT automation, electrical systems or project delivery experience.
Knowledge of IT/OT, industrial processes and power distribution.
Ability to manage cross-country projects and strong analytical problem solving.
English proficiency required; local language helpful.

Responsibilities

Lead and support plant automation projects across AMEA seed production sites as part of Syngenta's engineering network.
Collaborate with vendors to select appropriate technology for today and the future.
Define scope of work on capital automation projects for short and medium terms.
Support business cases on automation and OT/data investments.
Provide regional LAN hardware support and manage site SCADA systems.
