Job summary

Syngenta is seeking an experienced automation professional to lead plant automation initiatives across AMEA seed production sites. You will collaborate with regional and global engineering peers to align standards and share best practices, aiming to increase capacity while reducing manufacturing costs.

You will provide regional OT/IT support, define scopes for capital automation, and help ensure cybersecurity-compliant control systems. English proficiency is required and a BS degree is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or equivalent) in CS/EE/IE/Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance, OT automation, electrical systems, and/or project delivery.
• Understanding of IT/OT, industrial processes and power distribution.
• Ability to manage cross-country projects and teams.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support plant automation projects across AMEA seed production sites.
• Collaborate with regional/global engineering peers to align standards and share best practices.
• Work with vendors to select technology for current and future needs.
• Define scope of work for capital automation projects over short and medium terms.
• Support business cases on automation and OT/data investments.
