Job summary

PT. CANADA GREEN GATE is seeking an experienced Import/Export Logistics Specialist in Indonesia to coordinate shipments, ensure timely delivery, and handle customs clearance. You will work with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to prepare documents and monitor status.

The role requires at least 4 years in the field, strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication, supporting manufacturing operations with international shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in freight forwarding, import/export, logistics, or a related position.
• Strong understanding of import/export processes, freight forwarding, and customs procedures.
• Experience handling international shipments and customs clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate import and export shipments to ensure timely and smooth delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Prepare and verify import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and other required documents.
• Monitor shipment schedules, vessel/flight status, and delivery progress.
• Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Coordinate delivery and receipt of imported materials, machinery, and other goods for manufacturing operations.
• Follow up on shipping documents and resolve discrepancies or shipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions and shipping documentation.
• Monitor freight and logistics costs and coordinate with relevant departments regarding shipment requirements.
• Prepare regular reports related to import/export and logistics activities.
