Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an experienced Forwarding Business Development General Manager in Jakarta for a full-time leadership role. You will drive new business growth, market expansion, and key client relationships in forwarding and logistics.

You will lead a BD team, analyze markets, negotiate high-value contracts, and optimize pricing while coordinating with operations to exceed client expectations. This role requires a strong track record in logistics BD and strategic execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or related field is required.
10+ years in BD, sales, or general mgmt within logistics or forwarding is expected.
Experience launching new business lines or entering markets is essential.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies for forwarding and logistics opportunities.
Build relationships with prospective clients, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and partners.
Lead the sales and BD team to meet revenue targets and growth objectives.
Perform market analysis to inform pricing strategies and offerings.
Negotiate and close high-value contracts with major clients.
Oversee proposals and tenders, ensuring compliant submissions.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting forwarding.
Collaborate with operations to meet client expectations and performance metrics.
Prepare regular BD reports for senior management.
Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Develop pricing models and fee structures to optimise profitability.
