Job summary

GE Vernova, a global energy company, seeks a Resource Manager I to assign and manage field personnel across projects, ensuring training, mobilization, and performance oversight. You will coordinate with Event Management and Field Service teams to meet business needs and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 7+ years applicable work experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 2+ years managing and developing employees.
• 2+ years of specialized/industry experience.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assign employees to jobs based upon their skills, availability, and crew performance.
• Manage field employees including contracts, vacations, reviews, performance evaluations.
• Serve as primary contact regarding training, mobilization, pay and assignments.
• Recruit and hire prospective employees; manage field personnel and contracts.
• Assemble well-balanced crews for safety and quality; optimize using data sources.
• Validate crew composition with Resource Director and other managers.
• Determine employee readiness statuses considering Service Max Workload and Work Time Regulations.
• Coordinate mobilization/demobilization with Field Service Coordinator team.
• Collaborate with Service Managers and Immigration team to ensure travel readiness.
• Report on utilization, bench cost, attrition, and training statuses to drive productivity.
• Collaborate with regional Resource Managers to cover gaps globally.
• Conduct audits and inspections on work teams during field activities.
• Analyze feedback and post-outage data to improve satisfaction and reduce cost.
• Coordinate career development opportunities with TDM; ensure training records uploaded.
• Ensure employees are up to date on required EHS training.
• Participate in recruitment strategies and interviewing to maintain a strong team.
• Provide regular feedback and conduct annual performance reviews.
