Job summary

DayOne is seeking a seasoned Data Centre Integration Project Manager to lead end-to-end capacity expansion initiatives across global markets. You will drive on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality and security standards.

You will work with capacity planning, design, construction and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new capacity. Responsible for readiness testing, documentation, training, and regular status reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in data centre operations with capacity planning and integration.
• PMP/PRINCE2 certifications are preferred.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (servers, networking, cooling).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end integration projects for new data centre capacity, on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with capacity planning team to understand future capacity and ensure smooth integration.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including design, construction, and operations teams.
• Develop and execute operational readiness plans, including testing, documentation, and training.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on operations.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
