Job summary

DayOne is seeking a seasoned Data Centre Integration Project Manager to lead end-to-end capacity expansion initiatives across global markets. You will drive on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality and security standards.

You will work with capacity planning, design, construction and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new capacity. Responsible for readiness testing, documentation, training, and regular status reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in data centre operations with capacity planning and integration.
• PMP/PRINCE2 certifications are preferred.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (servers, networking, cooling).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including design, construction, and operations teams, to ensure seamless integration of new capacity.
• Develop and execute operational readiness plans, including testing, documentation, and training, to ensure new capacity is fully operational upon integration.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all new capacity meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on operations.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre operations, with a focus on capacity planning and integration.
• Proven experience in project management, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking, storage, and cooling systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
