Job summary
Syngenta is seeking an experienced OT automation engineer to lead plant automation projects across AMEA seed production sites. You will collaborate with regional and global engineering peers to align standards and drive efficiency.
You will provide regional LAN/SCADA support, maintain cybersecurity for site control systems, and lead preventive maintenance with local teams. Proficiency in English and local language is required.
Qualifications
- BS degree in CS, EE, Industrial Eng, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years in maintenance, OT automation, electrical systems, and/or project delivery.
- Strong IT/OT understanding and power distribution knowledge.
- Ability to manage projects across countries.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is a plus.
- English proficiency required plus local language.
Responsibilities
- Lead plant automation projects across AMEA seed production sites within Syngenta's engineering network.
- Collaborate with regional/global peers to align standards and share best practices.
- Provide regional LAN hardware support for OT and IT networks, document VLANs.
- Develop and maintain site SCADA software/hardware and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
- Establish preventive maintenance practices across AMEA sites.
- Troubleshoot automation system issues and perform root cause analysis with maintenance teams.
- Drive continuous improvement of site SCADA reporting and data visibility.
