Job summary

Syngenta seeks an experienced automation professional to lead plant automation projects across AMEA seed production sites, enhancing capacity and efficiency. You will coordinate with regional/global engineering peers to standardize practices, select technologies, and support capital investments.

The role requires strong IT/OT understanding, project management across countries, and Lean Six Sigma knowledge. English fluency is required; related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Min.5 years of maintenance, OT automation systems, electrical systems, and/or project delivery experience.
• Understanding IT/OT and industrial processes.
• Ability to manage projects across Countries.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge (green belt or higher) is a plus.
• Languages: Local language + English (written, spoken) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects across AMEA seed production sites to improve capacity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with vendors to select the right technology for current and future needs.
• Define scope with engineering teams for capital automation projects in short/medium term.
• Support business cases for automation and OT/data investments.
