Job summary

PT Kalbe Farma, Tbk is seeking an IT Data Engineer Officer to design and migrate data infra to Google Cloud Platform, build scalable pipelines, and manage data from diverse sources. You will implement data governance, security, and API integrations to support AI initiatives and analytics readiness.

The role requires 2–3 years of data engineering experience, strong Python/Java/C++/Scala skills, and expertise in GCP services, BigQuery, and Airflow. Onsite work at Pulomas, East Jakarta is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with GPA ≥3.0.
• 2–3 years of IT Data Analyst/Data Engineer experience.
• Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Workflow tools (Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Snowflake, Google Cloud Composer).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, Scala; strong SQL skills.
• GCP Core Services: Data Ingestion/Streaming, BigQuery, Dataflow/Dataproc/Dataplex, Cloud Composer, IAM/Security.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work fully onsite at Pulomas, East Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of on‑prem data infra to Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop storage strategies using GCS and BigQuery.
• Manage data acquisition from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain API integrations for data flow.
• Ensure data availability and quality for insights.
• Prepare and structure data for LLMs and Generative AI.
• Collaborate with AI/Analytics teams for analytics‑ready data.
• Support data solutions for AI/ML projects.
• Implement partitioning and clustering to optimize queries and costs.
• Manage workflows with Cloud Composer/Airflow and Cloud Workflows.
• Implement data security, IAM, data masking, and CMEK.
• Promote adoption of AI/ML and advanced analytics.
