This hybrid role allows collaboration with a talented data team and remote work flexibility, while ensuring availability, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure to support critical business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java).
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or similar.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Lake).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and optimize data models for big data technologies and databases (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across data systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Implement data warehousing solutions and support data governance initiatives.
• Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize.
