Job summary

PT Bibit Tumbuh Bersama is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to shape our data platform in Jakarta. You will own the data pipelines and contribute to scalable data warehousing initiatives that empower product and business teams.

The role requires deep GCP expertise, Python coding, and strong SQL skills, plus collaboration with the data team to discover and use data assets. Mentoring colleagues and guiding architecture are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong proficiency in GCP.
• Proficiency in Python with ≥4 years of professional experience.
• Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Experience with data platforms that support discovery, observability, quality, and reliability.
• Experience with third-party analytics tools (Firebase, Appsflyer, CleverTap).
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Strong SQL query and pipeline optimization skills.
• 1+ year of experience with data quality tools/frameworks.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong proficiency in GCP (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python programming with at least 4 years of professional experience
• Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation, with strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with data platforms that support discovery, observability, quality, and reliability
• Experience with third-party behavior analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Appsflyer, CleverTap)
• Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
• Ability to analyze and utilize data to provide insights for business decision-making
• At least 1 year of experience with data quality tools/frameworks
• Strong understanding of investment and business is a plus
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
