Job summary

PT. Roda Nurmala is a pump & system specialist delivering pump solutions for oil & gas, commercial buildings and industrial markets across Indonesia. We are seeking a hands-on technician to test and commission pumps and related mechanical systems at project sites.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and prepare technical reports. Willingness to travel to short-term assignments outside the city is required and you will operate in adherence with HSE

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, MEP contractor, mechanical maintenance, pump systems, rotating equipment preferred.
• Able to read English manuals (technical terms).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

PT. Roda Nurmala is pump & system specialist. We are distributing pump systems across projects in Indonesia. Established for more than 20 years, we have strong market presence in commercial building, industrial and oil & gas projects, specialized in fire pumps. We have collaborated with big projects and big developer groups, private and governments such as Agung Sedayu, Agung Podomoro, Ciputra, Sinarmas, Unilever, Indofood, WIKA, PP, Pertamina, Medco and many more.

Responsibilities

Testing and commissioning products (pumps/mechanical systems) at project sites.

Handling maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for pumps, motors, panels, and related mechanical systems.

Provide technical solutions to problems in the field, including analysis of the causes of damage.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with company SOPs.

Prepare complete technical reports for each job (installation reports, service reports, repair reports).

Provide basic training to clients on how to operate pumps and maintenance procedures.

Ensuring all work complies with occupational safety standards, especially Oil & Gas standards (HSE awareness).

Coordinating with engineering, sales, and project teams for technical requirements.

Updating technical skills related to mechanics, pumps, and the latest technical regulations.

Willing to travel and accept short-term assignments outside the city as required by the project.

Requirements

Minimum education: Vocational School in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / MEP.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a technician, preferably with experience working in: Oil & Gas, MEP Contractor, Mechanical maintenance, Pump system, rotating equipment.

Understanding of the basics of: mechanical, fluid dynamics, rotating equipment, centrifugal pump operations.

Accustomed to performing testing, commissioning, maintenance, repair & troubleshooting.

Able to read English manuals (minimum reading & technical terms).

Possess good problem solving, analytical, and technical communication skills.

Physically strong, agile, disciplined, and able to work in the field.
