Job summary

JIIPE seeks a proactive Gas Operation & Maintenance Shift Leader to supervise daily gas distribution operations, ensuring safety and adherence to established guidelines. You will oversee end-to-end monitoring from source to tenants and lead the shift at the Gresik facility.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical or electrical engineering degree with at least five years in the gas industry, hands-on automation experience, and strong knowledge of valves and piping; the ability to respond quickly

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a reputable university.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with automation processes, flow meters, control valves, gas chromatography.
Knowledge of valves, piping, mechanical basics, and K3 Migas.
Willing to be placed in Gresik, East Java.
Detail-oriented and quick learner.

Responsibilities

Execute day-to-day gas distribution operations in line with safety and guidelines.
Monitor operational conditions from end point to receiving point and to tenants.
Maintain Metering Regulating Station (MRS).
Observe the gas pipeline for leaks and inform supervisor of deviations/land subsidence.
Perform valve maintenance per guidelines.
Periodically check cathodic protection voltage of pipeline.
Record supply data per standards and guidelines.
