Job summary

JIIPE seeks a proactive Gas Operation & Maintenance Shift Leader to supervise daily gas distribution operations, ensuring safety and adherence to established guidelines. You will oversee end-to-end monitoring from source to tenants and lead the shift at the Gresik facility.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical or electrical engineering degree with at least five years in the gas industry, hands-on automation experience, and strong knowledge of valves and piping; the ability to respond quickly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a reputable university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with automation processes, flow meters, control valves, gas chromatography.
• Knowledge of valves, piping, mechanical basics, and K3 Migas.
• Willing to be placed in Gresik, East Java.
• Detail-oriented and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day gas distribution operations in line with safety and guidelines.
• Monitor operational conditions from end point to receiving point and to tenants.
• Maintain Metering Regulating Station (MRS).
• Observe the gas pipeline for leaks and inform supervisor of deviations/land subsidence.
• Perform valve maintenance per guidelines.
• Periodically check cathodic protection voltage of pipeline.
• Record supply data per standards and guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Execute flawless day to day operations in managing gas distribution within standard & guidelines (including safety).

• Monitor all operational condition (pressure drop, etc.) from ending point to receiving point as well as to tenants.
• Monitor and maintain MRS (Metering Regulating Station).
• Observe whole gas pipeline for any leakages & support deviation due to land settling and immediately inform to superior.
• Perform maintenance for valve as per maintenance guidance.
• Periodically check status voltage of cathodic of pipeline.
• Perform supply data record as per standard and guidelines.

REQUIREMENT :

• Bachelor's Degree in : Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering with minimum GPA 3.00 from reputable University.
• At least 5 years experience in the same field
• Having good experience in automation process, flow meter, control valve, gas chromatography
• Good knowledge about valve, pipping, mechanical basic and basic K3 Migas
• Detail and fast learn
• Willing to be placed at GRESIK, EAST JAVA
