PT Gistex Garmen Indonesia is seeking an experienced Garment Sample Section Head to lead our Sample Department in Bandung. You will oversee prototype to final sample development, ensuring technical accuracy, quality standards, and on-time delivery for international buyers.

You will coordinate with Pattern Making, Technical, Merchandising, QA, and Production teams, monitor schedules and productivity, and develop the team through coaching and continuous improvement.

Formación

• 3–5 years in garment manufacturing with supervisory or managerial experience in sample development.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, sewing, fitting, measurement specs, and quality standards.
• Experience handling sample development for international brands or buyers.
• Able to interpret tech packs and buyer requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, and team management skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Good English communication skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise all activities within the Sample Department from prototype to final approval.
• Oversee development of prototype samples, fit samples, size sets, and pre-production samples.
• Ensure samples meet technical specifications, measurement requirements, construction standards, and buyer expectations.
• Coordinate with Pattern Making, Technical, Merchandising, QA, and Production teams.
• Monitor schedules, productivity, quality, and resource utilization in the department.
• Identify technical challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Improve sample development processes to enhance efficiency and turnaround time.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and performance evaluation.
