Job Summary
Responsible for representing the buyer's quality requirements at our factory by monitoring production quality, ensuring compliance with buyer standards and specifications, and coordinating with factory teams to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities
Act as the on-site quality representative for the buyer, ensuring buyer quality standards, specifications, and workmanship requirements are consistently implemented.
Conduct quality inspections at various stages of production.
Monitor production processes and identify quality issues, defects, and potential risks that may affect product quality or delivery.
Review samples, approved standards, technical specifications,measurement charts, workmanship requirements, and other quality guideline from buyer.
Conduct inline and final inspections and ensure products meet the required quality standards before shipment.
Communicate quality findings and corrective actions to factory Production, QA/QC, Technical, and Merchandiser teams.
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
Participate in pre-production meetings, quality meetings, and production follow-ups to ensure quality expectations are clearly understood.
Monitor and report recurring quality problems and recommend improvements to prevent defects from reoccuring.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, defect analysis, and quality performance reports for the buyer.
Escalate critical quality issues or non-conformities to the buyer and factory management in a timely manner.
Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to product and process quality.
Ensure factory production complies with applicable buyer standards, quality procedures, and garment industry requirements.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are completed within the agreed timeline.
Support buyer audits, factory quality audits, and other quality-related activities as required.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Garment Production, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in garment quality control/quality assurance, preferably in a buyer representative or garment manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of garment construction, sewing processes, workmanship standards, garment defects, and inspection procedures.
Experience with AQL 0, AQL 2.5, inline inspection, final inspection, measurement/specification checking, and defect classification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with factory teams and buyer respresentatives.
Detail-oriented, firm, and able to maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced production environment.
Good command of English both written and verbal (required).
Willing to be stationed at our factory location and regularly monitor production activities.
