Job summary

PT Trisco Tailored Apparel Manufacturing in Indonesia seeks an experienced Quality Control Staff (Buyer Representative) to ensure the buyer's quality requirements are met across production. You will monitor quality at each stage, review technical specs, and coordinate with factory teams to drive CAPA and ongoing improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years in garment QA, strong knowledge of AQL standards, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Garment Production, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in garment quality control/QA, preferably as a buyer rep or garment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of garment construction, sewing processes, workmanship standards, defects, and inspection procedures.
• Experience with AQL 0 and AQL 2.5, inline and final inspections, plus measurement/specification checking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site buyer's quality representative, ensuring standards are followed.
• Conduct quality inspections at various production stages.
• Monitor processes and identify defects and risks impacting quality or delivery.
• Review samples, standards, specs, and measurement charts from the buyer.
• Perform inline and final inspections to ensure compliance before shipment.
• Escalate critical quality issues to buyer and factory management promptly.
• Support CAPA activities and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Participate in pre-production and quality meetings to align quality expectations.
