Job summary

LUCID CAFE in Jimbaran, Bali is seeking Kitchen Cooks to support kitchen operations during openings and ongoing service. You will assist in re-opening preparations, manage inventory, and execute cafe menu recipes with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires willingness to work in shifts, basic English, honesty, accuracy, and teamwork. Training provided, with opportunities to contribute new menu ideas and improve kitchen efficiency.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate up to 25 years old.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely.
• Understanding of food safety standards.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Honest, disciplined, punctual, and responsible.
• Capable, meticulous, able to follow instructions, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and good teamwork ability.
• Passion for cooking and a desire to learn cooking.
• Creativity and innovative ideas; must have good English language ability and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist Leader in kitchen re-opening prep including supplier material intro, equipment familiarization, complete menu recipes, and inventory planning.
• Manage daily kitchen materials and inventory according to shift.
• Follow menu preparation instructions according to cafe standards and Owner/Leader direction.
• Clean and store cooking materials and equipment properly, maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Perform cooking work according to kitchen task assignment and Leader direction.
• Participate in regular training from Owner/Leader.
• Actively contribute ideas for new menu offerings according to Owner/Leader direction.
• Maintain teamwork with front liners and fellow Cooks.
• Discuss and communicate kitchen processes, progress, and evaluations with Owner/Leader and fellow Cooks.
• Maintain motivation and positive sentiment for better, effective kitchen operations.
