Job summary

Standard Chartered in Indonesia is seeking a highly analytical Fund Accountant to manage NAV calculations, valuation, and post-trade reconciliation for our custody funds. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance while supporting the valuation team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and precise Fund Accountant to join our dynamic team. You will manage the post-trade lifecycle, ensuring the accurate valuation, reconciliation and accounting of investment funds held in our custody. In this role, you will calculate daily Net Asset Value (NAV), reconcile portofolio holdings, and ensure strict compliance to safeguards client assets. Ensure that all process comply with regulatory and adhere to internal policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the calculation, validation, and reporting of Net Asset Value (NAV) and financial reports for Non-Mutual Fund portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to Fund Managers, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports for Mutual Funds and Non-Mutual Funds in compliance with OJK requirements and industry regulations.
• Authorize and oversee fund-related payment transactions based on investment instructions from Fund Managers.
• Act as a key liaison between Fund Managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operational support and exceptional service delivery.
• Support portfolio administration activities, including custodian fee processing, tax reporting, audit preparation, and financial reconciliations.
• Manage client and Fund Manager inquiries related to portfolio holdings, financial transactions, and operational matters while maintaining high service standards.
• Assist in leading and developing the Valuation team to achieve operational excellence, service quality, and business objectives.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and UAT/UVT testing initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency and controls.
• Ensure accurate document management, record keeping, and adherence to regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Maintain full compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions, and regulatory policies, including the timely escalation of suspicious transactions and risk-related matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

• A minimum of 3-5 years' sustained experience in fund accounting in financial services industry
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital markets and financial instruments (bonds, equities, money markets)
• Solid understanding of fund regulations, compliance standards and industry practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Fluent in english (written and verbal)
