Allianz Global Investors in Indonesia seeks an experienced Portfolio Manager, Equities, to manage high-conviction equity portfolios and drive performance from fundamental research. You will collaborate with senior teams to generate investment ideas, conduct deep company and sector studies, and ensure rigorous risk management.

The role requires 10+ years in capital markets, CFA license or CFA candidate, and strong English proficiency in a global corporate setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in related discipline.
• 10+ years capital markets experience with portfolio management at a reputable buy-side firm.
• Proficiency in English is expected.
• Knowledge in quantitative analysis is a plus.
• WMI license required; CFA charter holder preferred.
• AI skills: Microsoft Copilot.

Join us as a Portfolio Manager, Equities within our Global Investment Platform team in Indonesia. You will play a key role in managing portfolios, generating high-conviction investment ideas through fundamental research, and delivering superior outcomes for our clients.

What You Do

• Achieve or exceed portfolio performance targets.
• Formulate and implement investment strategies and maintain high-conviction portfolios.
• Collaborate with the Head of Equity, Portfolio Managers, and Research Analysts to generate investment ideas, identify opportunities, and support portfolio performance.
• Conduct high-quality equity research and industry/macro studies as assigned
• Communicate critical company updates and research promptly to relevant stakeholders in local and overseas teams.
• Support Distribution teams to grow our assets under management and provide necessary client services to prospects and existing clients.
• Participate in strategic business initiatives as requested by management.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and portfolio guidelines
• Mentor and guide junior investment professional(s), if applicable.

What You Bring

• University degree in related discipline.
• Likely to possess 10+ years of capital markets experience, including portfolio management experience gained from a reputable buyside firm, with a demonstrable strong track record
• Knowledge in quantitative analysis is a plus
• Ability to analyze companies, assess risk/reward, and provide timely fundamental research to support investment recommendations and strategies.
• Comfortable to work under an international corporate work culture
• Excellent communication skills and a strong drive to excel.
• Proficiency in English is expected
• WMI license required; and preferably a CFA charter holder
• AI skills: Microsoft Copilot.
