Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia is seeking a Frying Operator to operate and monitor industrial frying lines while maintaining strict hygiene standards. You will manage temperature, oil levels, and throughput, ensuring consistent product quality across batches.

The role requires experience in food production, familiarity with HACCP/GMP, and willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends. Training provided for safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Frying Operator or similar in food production.
• Knowledge of industrial frying equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Understanding of food safety principles (HACCP, GMP).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple parameters.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial frying equipment, including temperature control, oil levels, and conveyor speeds, to ensure consistent product quality.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from the frying line.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to machinery to maintain proper functioning.
• Monitor product appearance, texture, and taste, making necessary frying adjustments.
• Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Record production data, including batch numbers, temperatures, and quantities produced.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor maintenance of frying equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
