Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Frying Operator to operate and monitor industrial frying equipment, ensuring product quality and consistency. You will load materials, perform routine checks, and adjust processes while following strict food safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will have experience in food production, knowledge of HACCP/GMP, and the ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a frying operator or in a similar food production role.
• Familiar with industrial frying equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and quality control principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial frying equipment, including temperature control, oil levels, and conveyor speeds, to ensure optimal product quality and consistency.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from the frying line.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to machinery to maintain proper functioning.
• Monitor product quality for appearance, texture, and taste, making necessary adjustments to the frying process.
• Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Record production data, including batch numbers, temperatures, and quantities produced.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor maintenance of frying equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
