Job summary

PT Buana Abadi Logistics is seeking a sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics. You will approach potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, online channels, and industry connections while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping or related industries.
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Good understanding of freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls, visiting customers, and developing new business.
• Able to identify customer needs and propose appropriate logistics solutions.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple prospects/accounts.
• Target-oriented and commercially minded.
• Good follow-up discipline and customer relationship management.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• Good command of English is an advantage, particularly with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, online channels, and industry connections.
• Develop new business opportunities and build a healthy sales pipeline.
• Understand customers' logistics requirements across import/export, sea freight, air freight, trucking, customs clearance, warehousing and related services.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor customer requirements, shipment volume, service issues, and opportunities for additional business.
• Monitor market conditions, competitors, freight rates, and customer trends.
• Work with Operations and Finance to ensure smooth onboarding and payment/credit arrangements.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
