Job summary

PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in oil and gas projects. The role emphasizes interface management, contractor supervision, and ensuring execution aligns with project objectives—offshore and onshore experience is required.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in oil and gas, with demonstrated ability to manage interfaces, control data flow, and coordinate with multiple contractors to close interfaces in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum or related fields)
• Experience in Project Engineering in a major oil and gas company for similar package
• Not less than 10 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, offshore and onshore
• Not less than 10 years of experience working with contractors and supervising the contractors
• Experience in execution phase and ensure interfaces are closed and approved before design is frozen, to monitor interfaces and maintain interface register
• Experience in controlling the flow of technical data across project interfaces to ensure design integrity

Responsibilities

• Lead interface management, ensuring interfaces are closed and approved by all parties
• Monitor revision status and update interface registers and management procedures
• Coordinate data flow across work packages to maintain data consistency and design integrity
• Support interface manager in interface identification and definition of technical interfaces
• Participate regularly in interface meetings to resolve execution issues
• Ensure clear accountability and documentation for interfaces and associated data flows

d) Not less than 10 years of experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.
e) Experience in the execution phase and ensure that interfaces are formally closed and approved by all parties before the design is frozen, to ensure that interfaces are executed and completed in accordance with project objectives, to monitor, update and record revision and status of interfaces, provide support to interface manager in the preparation if interface register and interface management procedures, maintaining and updating the interface register, controlling the process of interface identification and definition of technical and execution interfaces and participate on a regular basis to interface meetings.
f) Experience in control the flow of technical data across one or more project work package/contractor interfaces, to ensure a consistent design basis and data set, and thereby assure overall design consistency and integrity..
