Job summary

Bureau Veritas Indonesia is seeking a senior pre-commissioning professional with a degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or process engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, or startup operations in the oil & gas industry, including offshore installations.

The role requires coordination with construction and commissioning teams to ensure seamless handover of systems, and familiarity with test packs, hydrostatic and leak testing, flushing,

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, or startup operations in oil & gas.
• Experience in EPCI projects, offshore installations, pipelines, FPU/FLNG or subsea systems.
• Develop and implement Pre-Commissioning Execution Plans (PEP), procedures and checklists.
• Define system boundaries, test packs, and test requirements for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Experience with hydrostatic testing, leak testing, flushing, drying, pigging, chemical cleaning and inerting for pipelines and process systems.
• Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams for seamless handover of systems.
• Strong knowledge of process, instrumentation, electrical and mechanical pre-commissioning methods.
• Experience with offshore facilities, FPU/FPU/FLNG topsides, pipelines and subsea systems.
• Experience with completion tracking software ICAPS, PIMS, WinPCS, GoCompletions, etc.
