Job summary

Bureau Veritas Indonesia is seeking an experienced engineering professional to oversee topside construction and installation for upstream oil & gas facilities in Kalimantan Timur. The role emphasizes yard leadership, construction engineering, welding fabrication, NDT and PWHT activities, with strong focus on safety, PTW compliance, and adherence to AWS D1.1, API, and regional standards.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Material, Civil, Structural, or Subsea

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Material, Civil, Structural, or Subsea Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production facility topside construction and installation.
• At least 8 years in a supervisory role in upstream oil & gas facilities.
• Strong background in construction engineering with yard leadership, including welding fabrication, NDT, PWHT.
• Experience with safety regulations, permit to work (PTW), and compliance with local and international safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in structural design, installation activities, and applying relevant codes and standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, API, SNI).
• Having experience working in FPU/FPU/FLNG and brownfield project.
• Hold certifications in welding, NDT, painting, corrosion, or lifting (e.g., CSWIP, IWE, BGAS, NACE, LEEA, ASNT).
