Job summary

SeaOwl Group is seeking a Foreman to coordinate on-site mechanical installation and construction activities at the Batam site. You will lead a team, ensure work aligns with drawings and method statements, and manage manpower, tools, and materials to meet project specifications.

You will also conduct toolbox talks, monitor progress, and collaborate with Engineering, QA/QC, and HSE to resolve issues and drive timely handover.

Qualifications

• Senior high school or Diploma qualification is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience (or 7 years' experience with senior high school qualification).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical installation and construction activities at site.
• Lead mechanical workers and ensure activities comply with approved drawings, method statements, and work procedures.
• Coordinate installation of mechanical equipment, piping, supports, cable-related mechanical equipment, and related components.
• Ensure required manpower, tools, equipment, and materials are available before starting the work.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Monitor work progress and report daily activities, issues, and manpower utilization to the Supervisor/Superintendent.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and other disciplines for site activities.
• Ensure installation quality and workmanship comply with project specifications and report technical problems or discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical workers and ensure activities are performed according to approved drawings, method statements, and work procedures.


• Coordinate installation of mechanical equipment, piping, supports, cable-related mechanical equipment, and associated components.


• Ensure required manpower, tools, equipment, and materials are available before starting the work.


• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.


• Monitor work progress and report daily activities, issues, and manpower utilization to the Supervisor/Superintendent.


• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and other disciplines for site activities.


• Ensure installation quality and workmanship comply with project specifications and help to identify site issues and immediately report technical problems or discrepancies to the responsible Supervisor/Engineer.


• Support inspection, testing, mechanical completion, punch-list clearance, and handover activities.
