Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia (Wonoayu) is seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to perform in-process inspections of raw materials, finished products, and production lines. You will conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests to verify compliance with quality standards and support CCP monitoring.

Ideal candidates hold a D3 in related fields, with 1–3 years of QC experience in food processing. Strong GMP knowledge and the ability to read technical QC documents are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of proven QC Inspector experience, preferably in food processing or feed manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of QC principles, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Proficient in conducting physical, chemical, and sensory tests.
• Able to read technical specifications and QC documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular in-process inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and production lines according to QC procedures and sampling plans.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests on samples to verify compliance with standards.
• Monitor CCPs and parameters during production to ensure process stability.
• Identify and document non-conforming products or processes; initiate corrective actions and follow up.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and QC activities.
• Assist in investigating quality deviations, customer complaints, and production issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvements and GMP adherence.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with proper calibration.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Education
