Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia (Wonoayu) is seeking a QC Inspector to perform in-process inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and production lines. You will conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests to verify compliance with quality standards and document results meticulously.

The role requires a D3 in a relevant field, 1–3 years of QC experience in a food-related setting, and strong GMP/food safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (1-3 years) as a QC Inspector in food processing or feed manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Proficiency in physical, chemical, and sensory tests.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specs and QC documents.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform regular in-process inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and production lines.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests to verify quality standards.
• Monitor CCPs and parameters to ensure process stability.
• Identify non-conforming products or processes and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspection results and test data.
• Assist in investigating quality deviations, customer complaints, and production issues.
• Collaborate with production to implement GMP and quality improvements.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
