Job summary

Sailglobal is seeking an experienced Factory Finance & Tax Manager to oversee tax, financial reporting, and cost management for our manufacturing operations in Demak, Indonesia.

The ideal candidate will manage tax matters independently, handle financial reporting and factory cost accounting, and lead the finance team with strong analytical and leadership skills. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance & Tax Manager or in an equivalent finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations for manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to independently manage tax compliance, tax audits, and tax-related matters.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Tax management & compliance: Manage tax calculations, filings, payments, and refunds.
• Import & export taxation: Handle import/export tax matters, audits, and inquiries.
• Tax risk management: Reconcile filings with accounting records and establish compliance procedures and risk controls.
• Financial reporting: Oversee monthly and annual closing, prepare financial statements, and coordinate audits.
• Factory cost accounting: Manage production cost accounting, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
• Financial planning & control: Oversee budgeting, cash flow, accounts receivable/payable.
• Team leadership: Lead and supervise the finance team with accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation and manufacturing finance, with the ability to independently manage tax matters, financial reporting, factory cost accounting, and financial risk controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Management & Compliance: Manage tax calculations, filings, payments, and refund applications in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Import & Export Taxation: Handle import and export tax matters, tax audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Tax Risk Management: Reconcile tax filings with accounting records and establish effective tax compliance procedures and risk controls.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee monthly and annual closing, prepare financial statements, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Factory Cost Accounting: Manage production cost accounting, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis to support operational efficiency.
• Financial Planning & Control: Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the finance team while ensuring accurate reporting and effective financial management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance & Tax Manager or in an equivalent finance leadership role. (preferably in Textile Manufacturing or related industries)
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, particularly taxation applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to independently manage tax compliance, tax audits, and tax-related matters.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English for professional communication. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
