Job summary

BRAC UPGI Indonesia seeks a Finance Specialist to provide and coordinate financial management for its Jakarta operations. You will work with programme teams, HR, and BRAC Finance to ensure payroll, tax, and regulatory compliance are met.

The role covers monthly closings, financial reporting, donor reporting, and collaboration with external accountants to maintain accurate records. Fluency in English and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience in NGO/intl development setting.
• Experience with Indonesian payroll processing and statutory compliance (PPh 21, BPJS).
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage office financials and reporting.
• Coordinate payroll processing and statutory deductions.
• Oversee tax accounting, audits, and donor-related reporting.
• Prepare quarterly fund requests and cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain vendor records, invoicing, and tax documentation.
• Lead monthly and year-end closings and financial statements.
• Prepare annual financial report for government/MoU requirements.
