Job summary

Aspen Medical is seeking a Finance Policy & Procedure Specialist to develop, review, and standardize finance policies, SOPs, and related docs for a robust governance framework in our hospital setting. This project-based role collaborates across Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, and operations to ensure compliant, well-documented processes aligned with healthcare best practices.

This position is offered as a Daily Worker arrangement for an initial three-month period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or related education.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an accountant (AP, AR, Cash Management, Treasury, Fixed asset & Inventory Management, Expense reimbursement).
• Have a great communication style with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize finance policies and procedure
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, guidelines, and process flowchart
• Design finance forms, templates, and supporting documentation
• Map end-to-end finance processes and recommend process improvement
• Establish internal control procedures and approval workflow
• Ensure finance documentation complies with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital governance
• Collaborate with process owners to validate and implement new procedure
• Support internal audit readiness and accreditation requirements through complete and controlled documentation
• Conduct document orientation and knowledge transfer to finance and operational user
• Maintain document version control and periodic review schedule
