Seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager with 10+ years of finance and accounting experience and at least 3 years in a managerial role in mining. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow management, PSAK compliance, banking relationships, and external audits.

Our client is a private coal mining company seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function, improve financial controls, and support the company's ongoing business growth.

Description

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of Finance & Accounting operations, including General Accounting, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Tax coordination.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury activities, and banking relationships.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with PSAK, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, including liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to support management decision-making.
• Review and strengthen financial controls, processes, and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to support business planning, cost control, CAPEX, and OPEX management.
• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team, including direct supervision of Finance and Accounting Supervisors.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong understanding of PSAK, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Proven experience handling external audits, compliance matters, and auditor relationships.
• Experience managing banking relationships and financing activities.
• MUST have background at mining industry
• Understanding of mining business processes, including hauling, rental equipment, working capital management, CAPEX, and OPEX control.
• Candidates with experience from public accounting firms (KAP) is a major plus
