Job summary

Mataram Consultancy in Jakarta Selatan is seeking a Senior Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager to lead accounting, tax, and audit work and manage the finance team.

You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with PSAK and Indonesian tax regulations, and smooth audits, while providing clear financial insights to management.

The role requires 10–12+ years in finance, leadership experience, and hands-on expertise with accounting software and Excel; mining industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and tax.
• Experience as Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager.
• Proven experience leading a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of audits, taxation, accounting, and finance.
• Solid understanding of PSAK and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Professional English communication (spoken and written).
• Mining industry experience preferred.
• Brevet A & B or CPA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, setting priorities and reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting: AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements aligned with PSAK.
• Manage tax planning and compliance, including tax returns and audits.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and provide management reports.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.

An Indonesia-based mining contractor that provides services and operational support for mining activities. The company works with industry partners to assist with mining operations through its technical expertise, equipment, and project-based services.

About the role

We are looking for a senior Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager to lead accounting, tax, and audit work and manage the finance team. You will make sure reporting is accurate, tax obligations are met, and audits run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, setting priorities and reviewing work quality.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK).
• Manage tax planning and compliance, including tax returns and dealings with the tax office (KPP) during tax audits.
• Lead internal and external audits and make sure findings are resolved on time.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts, and give clear financial reports to management.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
