Job summary

Pusat Valas Asia is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial operations in Tangerang District, Banten, Indonesia. This full-time role emphasizes robust controls, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision support.

You will oversee financial statements, accounting systems, budgeting, and compliance while guiding the accounting team toward high performance and continuous improvement. A CPA/CA or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification or certification (such as CPA, CA or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles
• Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting controls and compliance management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in financial matters
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage and maintain financial records and accounting systems.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and risk management.
• Direct the accounting team; provide guidance, training and performance management.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and planning.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax and accounting principles.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators.
• Identify process improvements and implement efficient accounting procedures.
