Job summary

Article 33 Indonesia in Depok/West Java seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead its corporate accounting, reporting, and controls. This senior role partners with senior management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and robust governance across the financial function.

The successful candidate will direct budgeting, forecasting, tax, audit coordination, and system implementations, with a focus on IFRS/GAAP, financial integrity, and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting management role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Based in Depok or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP and AR.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze performance, identify trends, explain variances.
• Manage external audit processes.
• Oversee tax compliance and reporting.
• Select and implement accounting software to improve reporting.
• Provide financial leadership to the accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
