Job summary

PT Sumber Petrindo Perkasa is seeking a Finance & Accounting Staff on a contract basis based in South Jakarta. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the finance function across the organisation.

You will process transactions, maintain ledgers, reconcile statements, and assist with periodic reporting. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with IFRS/GAAP are desirable for ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting/Finance or related discipline; IFRS knowledge desirable.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process financial transactions including invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.

About the role

PT Sumber Petrindo Perkasa is seeking a Finance & Accounting Staff to join our finance team on a contract basis. Based in South Jakarta, this role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and supporting the wider finance function across the organisation. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to the effective financial management of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing financial transactions, including invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers
• Recording financial data in accounting systems and maintaining accurate ledgers and journals
• Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy
• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Assisting with the audit process by gathering and organising supporting documentation
• Monitoring and maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Performing general bookkeeping duties and administrative tasks related to financial operations
• Supporting the finance team with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or relevant professional certifications such as IFRS foundation knowledge
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a similar commercial or industrial environment
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial data management
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and rectify errors in financial records
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the finance and wider business
• Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements is desirable

PT. Sumber Petrindo Perkasa (PT SPP) has entered into operational phase on May 2014. We currently supplies contractual volume of 50 MMSCFD natural gas purchased from PT Pertamina EP located in Gundih Block, Cepu, Central Java. We deliver our gas through our pipeline which act as a backbone of gas distribution in Central Java to our sole customer PT Indonesia Power as fuel for their Tambak Lorok power plant.

We have supported the oil to gas conversion to decrease the subsidized oil usage for the electricity purpose.
