Job summary

Amar Bank in Jakarta is seeking an experienced finance leader to own end-to-end operational and governance responsibilities for financial accounting and regulatory reporting compliance.

You will manage the finance, accounting, and reporting team to ensure alignment with PSAK 109 and regulatory requirements, driving accurate statements and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Familiarity with PSAK 109 and banking regulatory reporting rules.
• Strong journal entries and financial statement preparation knowledge.
• Experience leading a team in finance, accounting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial closing processes in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Manage financial reporting preparation for the board and shareholders.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of regulatory report submissions to Bank Indonesia and OJK.
• Assess internal controls and monitor improvements in Finance, Accounting, and Reporting.
• Lead the assessment and implementation of new accounting standards and regulations.
• Liaise with external parties (Bank Indonesia, OJK, auditors) on financial matters.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

About the Position:

Handle end-to-end operational and governance ownership in the financial accounting and regulatory reporting compliance. This role manages the finance, accounting, and reporting team to ensure alignment with the business, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial closing processes in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage financial reporting preparation processes to the board of management and shareholders.
• Responsible for the timeliness of and accuracy of regulatory report submissions to Bank Indonesia and OJK.
• Manage assessment of internal controls, monitoring, and possible improvements of the business process within the Finance, Accounting, and Reporting Circle.
• Lead the assessment and implementations of new accounting standards and regulations related to financial reporting.
• Liaise with external parties (e.g. Bank Indonesia, OJK, auditors) involving financial matters and inquiries.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in related fields (background from a reputable public accounting firm or bank is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Related Field
• Familiarity with Accounting Standards (especially PSAK 109) and OJK banking regulations related to financial reporting
• Knowledgeable in banking transactions/ activities, including journal entries & financial statements preparation.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking.
• Experienced in leading a team.
