Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Ability to lead a distributed remote team and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting department, overseeing financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support decisions.
• Manage external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
