Job summary

Alchemist Group is seeking an experienced Remote Accounting Manager to lead our accounting functions from a fully remote position, supporting operations based in Bandar Lampung. The role requires a proven leader to manage a distributed team, oversee IFRS/GAAP financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance, and shape financial strategy.

Applicants should have a CPA/CMA, 7+ years in accounting with at least 2 in management, and strong ERP/accounting software experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage remote teams and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including financial reporting and general ledger.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in IFRS/GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Manage external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor a remote accounting team for high performance.
