PT API INTERNATIONAL INDONESIA is seeking an experienced senior accounting/finance leader to oversee all accounting functions in a manufacturing environment. The role requires 5–8 years of experience with at least 3 years in a management or lead position, and a deep knowledge of cost accounting, BOM, variance analysis, and machine hour rates.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and capable of guiding ERP implementations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CA) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5–8 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
Deep understanding of standard manufacturing Cost Accounting (BOM, Variance Analysis, Scrap/Waste Management, Machine Hour Rates).
Familiarity with reporting requirements to multiple shareholder groups, aligned chart of accounts, and JV board reporting protocols.
Advanced user and key functional stakeholder for enterprise ERP platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or specialized manufacturing ERPs). Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations/upgrades is a major plus.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for daily communication with international partner executives, board members, and regional management teams.
Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, transfer pricing, VAT/PPh calculations, and statutory audit compliance.
Strong experience with Financial Statement, Budgeting, Cash Flow Management, and Costing.
Ability to manage, train, and guide accounting staff, accountants, and payroll specialists.
Absolute honesty and adherence to ethical standards, as they handle sensitive financial data.
Ability to translate complex financial jargon into clear insights for executives, stakeholders, and non-financial department heads.
Exceptional analytical skills to spot discrepancies, streamline processes, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Strong organizational skills to meet strict monthly, quarterly, and annual closing deadlines.
Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close procedures
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure the integrity of financial data
Manage the annual budget process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting
Direct and supervise accounting staff, providing training, mentoring and performance management
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and other statutory obligations
Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required
Implement and maintain accounting systems and software to improve efficiency and accuracy
Monitor cash flow and working capital management to optimise liquidity
