Job summary

Baker Hughes in Indonesia seeks a Field Specialist to lead wireline operations, equipment assembly, perforation and data acquisition in challenging environments. Open Hole and Cased Hole services include formation evaluation, fluid sampling, acoustic & nuclear tech, plus well integrity work after casing has been set.

You will collaborate with crews, ensure calibration and safety, manage risk, and deliver high-quality log data and reports to clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent knowledge/experience.
Working experience in Wireline Operation.
Familiar with Radiation, Explosive, Winch Control.
Competent on operation Pressure Control Equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Operations & Technical Execution in the field.
Logging Operations: run sensors into the wellbore to measure rock properties.
Tool Assembly & Testing: assemble tool strings and perform pre-run checks.
Perforation & Mechanical Services: execute perforations and set packers to isolate zones.
Data Acquisition: monitor real-time data and troubleshoot signal issues.
Equipment Maintenance & Quality Control including preventive maintenance.
Calibration of measurement tools against standards.
System Troubleshooting under field conditions.
Safety & Compliance (HSE) adherence and risk assessment.
Leadership & Client relations: onsite representative to discuss progress and risks.
Crew Management: supervise operators and technicians.
Reporting: compile final logs and post-job reports.
Logistics & Prep: plan jobs and manage inventory.
