Responsibilities
  • Maintain a first‑class level of customer service, ensuring all customers are responded to and problems are addressed in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows Operating System and applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe and other authorized desktop applications (including lab workstations).
  • Perform smart hands and eyes for Infrastructure such as Servers, Storage, Tape Media, Network & Voice, Cabling, etc.
  • Provide remote support (L2) across the region.
  • Coordinate regionally with third‑party suppliers.
  • Travel to neighboring cities as required.
  • Support printers, computer hardware and other authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Perform hardware break‑fix tasks on computers, laptops, printers and other peripheral equipment.
  • Conduct general preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, printers and other equipment.
  • Manage desktop lifecycle programs by tracking hardware through Asset Management from delivery through end of life, including builds, application installations, user migration and hardware installations.
  • Maintain IT assets and keep proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for external support and repair.
  • Actively monitor the ticket queue, ensuring accurate logging, categorization, prioritization, initial diagnosis, routing, functional escalation and data integrity of all incidents and requests in ticketing tools.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in IT/IS discipline or equivalent.
  • At least two years’ experience in end‑user support.
  • Strong support knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Proficient support knowledge in MS Windows OS and Office suite.
  • Basic knowledge of IT Infrastructure (network topologies, VPN, servers, etc.) sufficient to isolate end‑user problems.
  • Exceptional customer focus with excellent interpersonal and telephony skills.
  • Process‑oriented and able to perform in a fast‑moving, demanding environment.
  • Multitasking ability.
  • Team player who is self‑motivated, self‑disciplined and takes initiative.
