Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience with UPS systems and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical panels, circuits and power distribution.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analysers.
• Valid electrical license or certification recognised by Indonesian authorities.
• Strong communication skills with non-technical clients.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Tangerang District.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (UPS & PANEL ELECTRICAL)

About the role
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer (UPS & Panel Electrical) to join PT Asia Megatama Sejahtera in Tangerang District, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our critical electrical infrastructure and uninterruptible power supply systems for our valued clients. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the frontline of our operations, ensuring that our customers' electrical systems operate efficiently and reliably. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety and performance across our client base.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems at client sites
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels and associated equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system failures in UPS and panel systems
• Repair or replace defective electrical components and parts with precision and adherence to safety standards
• Conduct on-site testing and verification of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of their systems
• Document all maintenance activities, service reports, and technical findings in a clear and organised manner
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide rapid response solutions to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop solutions for complex electrical challenges
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company protocols

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Proven experience working with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and their maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical panels, circuit design, and power distribution systems
• Competency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysers
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex electrical issues efficiently
• Valid electrical license or certification recognised by relevant authorities in Indonesia
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
• Physical fitness and ability to work at height and in confined spaces where necessary
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the Tangerang District and surrounding regions
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate technical documentation
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices in electrical engineering
• Preferred: Experience with specific UPS brands or electrical panel manufacturers used in the region
