Job summary

Grab is seeking a field-oriented Large Area Associate to build relationships with merchants in high-density areas. You will drive growth through data-backed engagement, campaign participation, and the adoption of commercial solutions, reporting to the Large Area Manager Lead and working onsite in our Jakarta office.

You will identify high-potential merchants, conduct frequent visits, advise on delivery and digital presence, and strive to exceed city benchmarks with ads, pilots and new products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales, business development, or account management within food/on-demand delivery, e-commerce, retail, F&B, or logistics.
• Hands-on field sales or territory management with high mobility across outer Jabodetabek.
• Proven track record of managing partners and driving revenue through partnerships.
• Able to listen to partners, solve challenges, and explain product benefits clearly.
• Comfortable using Excel data and SQL to turn insights into actions.
• Takes ownership of projects and drives them to success.
• Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-potential merchants based on cuisine relevance, performance, and offline traffic.
• Act as a dedicated monthly growth consultant for merchants in your zone.
• Build trust through frequent in-person visits and strategic follow-up calls.
• Serve as the primary advisor for merchants upgrading delivery and digital presence.
• Drive merchant campaign participation to beat city-level benchmarks.
• Increase take-up of ads, new products, and exclusive pilots.
• Operate within a defined high-density geographic territory.
• Prioritize and hit targeted business growth and campaign metrics.
